Japan Marine United Corp has a long history of designing and building large tankers, large bulk carriers and LPG/LNG carriers, domestically and internationally.
JMU was created in 2013 by the merger of Universal Shipbuilding and IHI Marine United, two of the leading companies in Japan's shipbuilding industry. Its Life Cycle business provides in-dock repair, running repair offshore, inspection of onboard equipment and supply of parts.
